The pump requires three (3) D-size alkaline batteries (sold separately).

1. Locate the top cover of the pump.
2. Push down gently on the top cover and twist counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
3. Carefully remove the battery pack from the center of the pump.
4. Insert three D-size alkaline batteries into the battery pack, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
5. Place the loaded battery pack back into the pump's center compartment.
6. Align the top cover with the pump body, push down, and twist clockwise to secure it. Ensure it is tightly sealed to prevent water ingress.

4.2 Hose Attachment

The pump includes a 36-inch garden hose adapter for extended reach.

1. Uncoil the clear hose that wraps around the pump unit.
2. Attach the garden hose adapter to the threaded outlet on the pump.
3. Connect the other end of the hose to the desired drainage point or container.

5. Операция

To operate the Utilitech PPWB pump:

1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed and the top cover is sealed.
2. Place the pump into the water you wish to drain. The pump is designed to float when the suction screen is removed, allowing for versatile placement.
3. Locate the on/off switch (typically a black button or lever on the side) and activate it to start the pump.
4. The pump will begin to transfer water at a rate of up to 3 gallons per minute (GPM) with a 36-inch lift.
5. Once the desired amount of water has been transferred or the area is drained, deactivate the on/off switch to stop the pump.
6. Remove the pump from the water and allow it to drain.
