Use high-speed steel (HSS) drill bits. Apply light, consistent pressure. Use cutting oil for harder metals to prolong bit life and improve cutting efficiency. Maximum drilling capacity in steel is 13 mm.

4.3.2 Drilling Wood
Use wood-specific drill bits (e.g., brad point, spade, or auger bits). Start with a slow speed to prevent splintering, then increase as needed. Maximum drilling capacity in wood is 30 mm.

4.3.3 Drilling Masonry (Concrete, Brick)
Switch to hammer drilling mode and use carbide-tipped masonry drill bits. Apply firm, steady pressure. Do not force the drill; let the hammer action do the work. Maximum drilling capacity in concrete is 16 mm.
