This manual provides essential instructions for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Babyletto Gelato 4-in-1 Convertible Crib. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

The Babyletto Gelato crib is designed to adapt as your child grows, converting from a crib to a toddler bed, daybed, and full-size bed (conversion kit for full-size bed sold separately). It is constructed from solid New Zealand pine wood and is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for a healthier indoor environment.

Setup: Crib Assembly

Crib to Toddler Bed Conversion

When your child is ready to transition from a crib (typically between 18 months and 3 years), you can convert the crib into a toddler bed using the included conversion kit.

1. Remove Front Rail: Carefully remove one of the long side rails of the crib.
2. Install Toddler Rail: Attach the toddler bed conversion rail (included) to the crib frame using the provided hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened.

The toddler bed provides a lower barrier, allowing your child to get in and out independently while still offering a sense of security.

Toddler Bed to Daybed Conversion

The daybed configuration is suitable for older toddlers who no longer require a safety rail.

Daybed to Full-Size Bed Conversion

For a full-size bed conversion, an additional conversion kit (Model M5789) is required and sold separately. This allows the crib to grow with your child into their teen years.

2. Disassemble Daybed: Carefully disassemble the daybed frame.
3. Assemble Full-Size Bed: Follow the instructions provided with the full-size conversion kit to attach the headboard and footboard (from the original crib) to the new bed rails.
