Introduction

The SilverStone ES02-USB is a convenient wireless remote switch kit designed to provide remote control over your computer's power and reset functions. Utilizing standard 2.4GHz RF wireless technology and connecting via the motherboard's USB 2.0 9-pin internal header, this kit allows you to turn on, turn off, or reset your computer from a distance of up to 20 meters in free space. It includes a Y-cable to ensure that your computer case's existing power and reset buttons remain functional alongside the ES02-USB.

Follow these steps to properly install your SilverStone ES02-USB kit:

4. Connect the Power/Reset Y-Cable:
   • Disconnect your computer case's existing Power SW and Reset SW cables from the motherboard's front panel headers.
   • Connect these disconnected Power SW and Reset SW cables from your case to the corresponding male pins on the ES02-USB Y-cable.
   • Connect the female ends of the ES02-USB Y-cable to the Power SW and Reset SW headers on your motherboard. This setup allows both the remote and your case buttons to function.
