Before first use, fully charge the device using the included Micro USB cord. Connect the Micro USB end of the cord to the device's charging port and the USB-A end to any compatible USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light on your device will turn green when fully charged and ready for use.

Applying the Mosquito Lure
The included PIC Mosquito Octenol Lure enhances the device's effectiveness in attracting mosquitoes. Follow these steps to install it:
- Lift the tab on the cap at the top of the device.
- Twist the cap counter-clockwise and lift to open the lure compartment.
- Open the PIC Mosquito Octenol Lure pouch and carefully place the lure inside the built-in holder.
- Replace the cap by aligning it and pressing down.
- Turn the cap clockwise to securely close it.

The PIC PBZ features a toggle switch on the base of the unit to select between different operating modes:

For optimal performance as an insect zapper, it is recommended to place the unit away from your immediate area. This draws insects towards the light and away from you. The device is portable and can be hung using its integrated hook, making it ideal for camping or patio use.

Cleaning the Zapping Grid
Regularly clean the zapping grid to ensure optimal performance. Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove any dead insects or debris from the grid. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the grid.
Lure Replacement
The mosquito octenol lure is designed to be effective for approximately 30 days. For continuous attraction, replace the lure every 30 days or as needed.
