1. Introduction and Overview

The Eltako DSZ15WDM-3x5A MID is an M-bus energy meter designed for precise measurement of active energy consumption. This modular device is suitable for mounting on a DIN-EN 60715 TH35 rail, occupying 4 division units (70 mm width, 58 mm depth). It features Class B (1%) accuracy and includes a bus interface for integration into energy management systems. The meter supports a maximum current path of 3 x 5 A and maintains a low standby loss of only 0.5 W.
