Before proceeding, ensure the main power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker to prevent electric shock. The SONOFF Basic R2 is designed for in-line wiring. Connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires from your power source to the 'Input' terminals, and connect the live (L) and neutral (N) wires of your appliance to the 'Output' terminals.
