- Before first use, wash the jar, lid, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Place the blender base on a clean, dry, and level surface.
- Ensure the blade assembly is securely seated in the bottom of the glass jar.
- Place the glass jar onto the blender base, ensuring it is properly aligned and seated. The blender will not operate if the jar is not correctly positioned.

Your Hamilton Beach Blender is designed for efficient blending with its 850-watt motor and Wave~Action System.
