Setup and Sanitation
Proper sanitation is critical for successful brewing. Always clean and sanitize all equipment that will come into contact with your wort or beer.

- Дан эгиндери: Place the specialty grains from your recipe kit into a grain bag. Steep in hot water (typically 150-170°F or 65-77°C) in your brew kettle for the recommended time. This extracts color and flavor. Remove the grain bag, allowing it to drain without squeezing.
- Boiling the Wort: Add the malt extract (liquid and/or dry) to the brew kettle with the steeped water. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil. This mixture is now called wort.

Store the fermentor in a cool, dark place with a stable temperature (as recommended by your recipe, typically 65-70°F or 18-21°C). Fermentation usually takes 1-2 weeks. The airlock will bubble as CO2 is released. Once bubbling slows or stops, fermentation is likely complete.
