Choose a level, firm location for the filter pump and saltwater system. It should be at least 10 feet (3 meters) from the pool and accessible for maintenance. Ensure the location is protected from direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions.

The multi-port valve allows you to select different operating modes:

2. Saltwater System Operation

The integrated saltwater system generates natural chlorine from salt added to the pool water, reducing the need for packaged chlorine. Ensure proper salt levels are maintained for optimal performance.

• Add pool-grade salt to your pool water according to the manual's recommendations based on your pool volume.
• Allow the salt to dissolve completely before activating the saltwater system.
• Use the control panel to set the desired operating hours for chlorine generation. The 24-hour digital timer allows for automatic on/off cycles.

3. HydroAeration Technology

This patented technology enhances water circulation and clarity by injecting air into the water, which causes fine particles to cluster together for more effective filtration. It also increases freshness by generating negative ions.

1. Backwashing the Sand Filter

Backwash the filter when the pressure gauge reading increases by 3-5 PSI (0.2-0.34 BAR) above its clean operating pressure, or when pool water clarity decreases. This typically occurs every 1-2 weeks depending on usage.

2. Salt Cell Cleaning

The electrolytic cell may accumulate scale over time, reducing its efficiency. Clean the cell regularly, especially if the "Service" indicator light illuminates.

• Turn off the system and disconnect power.
• Remove the electrolytic cell from the system.
• Inspect the plates for scale buildup. If present, clean with a solution of 1 part muriatic acid to 4 parts water. Always add acid to water, never water to acid.
• Rinse thoroughly with fresh water before reinstallation.

3. Strainer Basket Cleaning

Periodically check and clean the strainer basket located in the pump housing to remove debris and ensure optimal water flow.
