5.2 Mounting the Matte Box

The Mini Matte Box can be mounted in two ways:

• Vignetting with Wide-Angle Lenses: Vignetting (darkening at the corners of the image) can occur with very wide-angle lenses, especially when using multiple circular filters. Try removing circular filters or adjusting the lens focal length if possible. The matte box is designed to minimize vignetting but extreme wide-angle setups may still be affected.
