Follow these steps to connect your JideTech HDMI KVM Switch:

3. Connect Computers (PC1):

   • Connect a USB A-B cable from PC1's USB port to the KVM's USB Input port for PC1 (labeled PC1 USB).
4. Connect Computers (PC2): Repeat step 3 for PC2, connecting its video outputs to KVM's HDMI Input ports for PC2 (IN 2A and IN 2B) and its USB port to the KVM's USB Input port for PC2 (labeled PC2 USB).

The JideTech KVM Switch offers multiple methods for switching between connected computers:

6.1. Push Button Switching

Press the 'SELECT' buttons (1 or 2) on the front panel of the KVM switch to directly switch to the corresponding computer. The LED indicator will illuminate for the active computer.

6.2. Wired Remote Control Switching

Use the included wired remote control. Press button '1' to switch to PC1 or button '2' to switch to PC2.

6.3. Mouse Switching

Double-click the middle scroll wheel of your mouse to switch to the next active computer. This feature can be enabled/disabled via hotkey.

6.4. Keyboard Hotkey Switching

Ensure the 'Hot Key ON/OFF' button on the front panel is set to ON. Use the following hotkey commands:

• Switch to PC1: Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [1]
• Switch to PC2: Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [2]
• Auto Scan Mode (5-second interval): Press [Scroll Lock] + [Scroll Lock] + [S]
• Disable Mouse Switching: Press [Right Ctrl] + [Right Ctrl] + [M] + [Enter]
• Enable Mouse Switching: Press [Right Ctrl] + [Right Ctrl] + [M] + [Enter] (toggle)

Note: Some keyboards may not fully support hotkey functions. If you experience issues, try disabling hotkey support via the front panel button or connecting the keyboard to a general USB 2.0 hub port.
