Follow these steps carefully for proper installation. Always ensure power is off at the circuit breaker before starting any electrical work.

4.1 Downrod Assembly

1. Remove the clevis pin from the downrod by first removing the cotter pin holding it in place. Set both pins aside.
2. Prepare the canopy cover and coupling cover by placing them onto the downrod. The canopy cover should go on the side of the downrod with the mounting ball.
3. Align the downrod in the coupling on top of the ceiling fan motor housing. You may need to loosen the set screws that will hold the downrod's position, but do not fully remove them.
4. Align the holes in the coupling and the downrod. Reinstall the clevis pin. Be careful not to damage the wires as you reinsert the pin. Wiggle the clevis pin back and forth to move wires out of the way.
5. Once the clevis pin is through, use the cotter pin to lock it in place.
6. Tighten the set screws to lock the downrod in place. This step is very important to prevent fan wobble during operation.

1. Install the mounting bracket to the ceiling fan-rated outlet box.
2. Pass the wires that will be used to power the fan through the hole in the ceiling for easy access later.
3. Lift the assembled fan and place the mounting ball from the downrod into the ceiling mounting bracket. Rotate the ball until the slot falls into place.

Wire the fan according to the installation instructions provided with your specific model. Generally:

• Black wire to Black wire.
• White wire to White wire.
• Bare copper and green wires are connected as the ground wires.

Use the provided wire nuts to make secure connections. Push the wires and any receiver into place and cover by attaching the canopy cover. Move the coupling cover into place as well.

1. Attach the fan blades to the motor housing using your screwdriver.
2. It is recommended to attach all screws loosely at first to attach all blades.
3. Then, go back and securely tighten all screws. Loose screws can cause the fan to wobble.

4.5 Installing Light Kit (if applicable)

If your fan has a light kit, it may require you to install a mounting plate on the bottom of the motor housing before installing the light kit to the mounting plate.

1. Install the mounting plate using the provided screws in the fan housing.
2. Install the light kit using the provided screws in the motor housing and mounting plate.
3. If your fan has a glass shade to cover the light kit, align it in place over the light kit and twist it to secure it in place.

5. Операция

Your fan is controlled by the included remote control. Ensure power is restored at the breaker before operation.

If your fan has a remote (RH787TB), you may need to go through a remote pairing process quickly after restoring power to the fan, especially for first-time setup or if pairing is lost.

1. Ensure the fan's power has been disconnected for at least one minute (e.g., at the circuit breaker) to ensure the receiver is ready to be paired.
2. Verify the 12V MN21 A23 battery is correctly installed in the remote and is not depleted. The light at the top of the remote should light up when buttons are pressed.
3. Restore power to the fan at the circuit breaker.
4. Within one minute of restoring power, press and hold the "SET" button on your remote (located under the battery cover) for approximately 5 seconds.
5. If your fan has a light kit, the lights will blink twice to confirm remote pairing. The light on the remote should also blink to indicate successful pairing.
6. If you have multiple fans of the same type using this remote, it is important to pair them one at a time. Ensure all other fans are disconnected from their power supply during pairing to avoid interference.

5.2 Аба агымынын багыты

The fan offers two airflow directions for year-round comfort:

• Counter-Clockwise / Forward: Used during warmer months to make the room feel cooler by blowing air downward, creating a direct draft.
• Clockwise / Reverse: Used during cooler months to make the room feel warmer by creating an updraft that pushes warm air to the ceiling, along the wall, and into the room. You will not feel much of a breeze in this setting.
