The YY-400 requires 3 x 1.5V (LR44) button batteries (not included). To install or replace batteries:
- Unscrew the top cap of the device.
- Insert the 3 LR44 batteries according to the polarity markings.
- Securely screw the top cap back on.

Regular pH calibration ensures accuracy. Use the provided pH buffer powders (4.00, 6.86, 9.18) for calibration.
- Prepare the buffer solutions by dissolving each powder packet in 250ml of distilled water.
- Turn on the meter and select pH mode.
- Dip the electrode into the 6.86 pH buffer solution.
