The YuanLey PoE+ switch is designed for plug-and-play operation, requiring no complex configuration.

5.1 Extend Mode Function:

The switch features an "Extend" mode to increase the transmission distance for PoE devices.

5.2 VLAN Function:

The VLAN function enhances network security and performance by isolating traffic between PoE ports.

• When VLAN is enabled, PoE ports 1-16 are isolated from each other. Devices connected to these ports can only communicate with the Uplink ports (17A-18A), not directly with each other.
• This isolation helps prevent broadcast storms and improves network efficiency, particularly in surveillance systems where cameras should only communicate with the NVR via the uplink.

To activate VLAN, locate the "VLAN" switch on the front panel and slide it to the "VLAN" position. Ensure the switch is powered off before changing modes, then power it back on.
