3.2 Батареяны заряддоо

1. Place the radio (with battery installed) into the desktop charger.
2. Connect the charger to a power outlet using the provided adapter.
3. The charging indicator light on the charger will illuminate (typically red) to show that charging is in progress.
4. Once the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will change color (typically green).
5. A full charge typically takes several hours. Do not overcharge the battery.

3.3 Attaching the Belt Clip and Wrist Strap

• Secure the belt clip to the designated slots on the back of the radio using the provided screws.
• Thread the wrist strap through the loop on the top or side of the radio for added security.

4.4 Automatic Squelch (ASQ)

4.5 Timeout Timer (TOT)

• The Timeout Timer (TOT) is preset at 180 seconds. This function limits the duration of a single transmission to prevent accidental continuous broadcasting and conserve battery life.

4.6 Channel Monitoring

• The radio supports channel monitoring, allowing you to listen to activity on a selected channel without the squelch active. Refer to the specific button functions for activating this feature (usually one of the side buttons).

4.7 Private Conversations (Security Codes)

• The PNI PMR R40 PRO allows for the encryption of both transmission and reception using security codes. This feature enables private conversations. Programming of these codes typically requires specialized software and a programming cable (see Section 4.9).
