Connecting to a PC or Console

  1. Connect the Micro-B end of the provided cable to the Surefire Bunker Gaming HDD.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your PC or gaming console. If your device only has USB-C ports, use the included USB-A to USB-C adapter.
  3. The device will power on, indicated by the RGB lighting.

Initial Formatting (Windows)

For Windows users, the drive may require initial formatting or partition setup before use. The included format software can assist with this. Follow the on-screen instructions provided by the software or your operating system.

Initial Formatting (Consoles)

When connecting to a gaming console (e.g., Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5), the console will typically prompt you to format the drive for use with its system. Follow the console's on-screen instructions. Note that formatting for a console will erase all data and make the drive exclusively usable with that console unless re-formatted for PC.
