3.1 Initial Setup & Unboxing

Upon unboxing, ensure all components are present: the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller, USB-C charging cable, and instruction manual. The controller comes with a pre-installed 1000mAh rechargeable battery.

3.2 Nintendo Switchге туташуу

To connect your 8BitDo Pro 2 controller to a Nintendo Switch:

1. Ensure your Nintendo Switch system is updated to version 3.0.0 or above (or 9.0.0 for Switch Lite).
2. On the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller, slide the mode switch on the back to the 'S' position (Switch mode).
3. Press and hold the 'Start' button on the controller until the indicator lights begin to flash.

For Windows PC connection:

1. Ensure your Windows PC has Bluetooth 4.0 or above.
2. Slide the mode switch on the back of the controller to the 'X' position (X-input mode).
3. Press and hold the 'Start' button until the indicator lights flash.
4. On your PC, go to 'Bluetooth & other devices' settings, click 'Add Bluetooth or other device', and select 'Bluetooth'.
5. Select '8BitDo Pro 2' from the list of available devices to pair.

3.5 Connecting to Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad, macOS, Apple TV)

For Apple device connection (Officially Supported):

1. Ensure your Apple device is running iOS 16.3 or above, iPadOS 16.3 or above, tvOS 16.3 or above, or macOS 13.2 or above.
2. Slide the mode switch on the back of the controller to the 'A' position (Android mode, which is compatible with Apple devices).
3. Press and hold the 'Start' button until the indicator lights flash.
4. On your Apple device, go to Bluetooth settings and select '8BitDo Pro 2' to pair.

4. Customization & Ultimate Software

The 8BitDo Ultimate Software allows for extensive customization of your controller's settings. It is available on PC, Android, and iOS.

The 8BitDo Pro 2 controller is equipped with a 1000mAh rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery, providing approximately 20 hours of gameplay on a full charge. The battery is included and pre-installed.

To charge the controller, connect the supplied USB-C cable to the controller's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). A full charge typically takes around 4 hours.

The battery is also removable, offering flexibility for replacement if needed in the future.
