6. Operating and Motion Sensor Settings
The motion detector has two adjustable settings: LUX (light sensitivity) and TIME (illumination duration).
- Accessing Controls: The adjustment dials are located on the motion sensor. Gently rotate the sensor cover to reveal the dials.
- LUX Setting (Light Sensitivity):
- This dial controls the ambient light level at which the sensor activates the light.
- Rotate towards the 'sun' symbol for activation during both day and night (high LUX).
- Rotate towards the 'moon' symbol for activation only in low light conditions (low LUX, 3-2,000 LUX range).
- TIME Setting (Illumination Duration):
- This dial sets how long the light remains on after motion is detected.
- Adjust from 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
