Atticus Empero Nutsedge Killer is a highly effective turf herbicide containing 75% halosulfuron-methyl, designed to control tough nutsedge in established lawns, ornamental turfgrass, and landscape areas. It works by traveling down to the root system tubers for complete weed kill. Gentle on most warm- or cool-season turf, it's easy to measure and mix, and is rainproof after 4 hours. Preparation & Mixing
Empero Nutsedge Killer comes in rapid-dissolving granules for easy preparation.
- Add 1 level scoop of Empero Nutsedge Killer and 2 teaspoons of surfactant (not included) per gallon of water.
- Mix thoroughly until granules are fully dissolved.

Apply the mixed solution to areas affected by nutsedge. Ensure thorough coverage of the weed foliage.
- Apply to established warm- or cool-season turf, including bluegrass, fescue, Bermudagrass, and zoysia.
- Ensure the entire leaf surface of the target weed is wet with the spray solution.
- Avoid double spraying areas to prevent thinning of grass. Using a blue dye (not included) can help track sprayed areas.

Post-Application Care
After application, allow the spray solution to dry completely before re-entry.
- Pets and people can re-enter the treated area once the spray solution has dried.
- The product is rainproof after 4 hours, meaning it will remain effective even if rain occurs after this period.
- Avoid watering or cutting the lawn for 2-3 days after application for optimal results.

If nutsedge persists after initial application, consider the following:
- Ensure proper mixing ratios were followed, including the use of a surfactant.
