Connect the 5-conductor cable from the opener arm to the control board. Then, connect the UPS01 Uninterrupted Power Supply to the control board and plug the power cord into a 100-240VAC electricity socket. The UPS01 will power the system directly.
5.2 Power Mode 2: AC Electricity and Backup Batteries
For backup power, connect two 12V 12Ah automotive/marine type batteries (not included) in series to become 24V. Connect the UPS01 to the control board, then connect the UPS01 to the battery terminals. Finally, connect the AC power cord to the UPS01. The UPS01 will charge the batteries and provide power, switching to battery power during AC outages.
5.3 Power Mode 3: Solar Panels and Batteries
If AC electricity is unavailable, you can power the system using solar panels and batteries. Connect the solar panels (not included) in parallel to increase charge current. Connect the UPS01 to the control board, then connect the UPS01 to the battery terminals. Finally, connect the solar panels to the UPS01. The UPS01 will manage solar charging.
5.4 Power Mode 4: AC Electricity, Solar Panels, and Backup Batteries
This mode combines all power sources for maximum reliability. Connect the UPS01 to the control board, then connect the UPS01 to the battery terminals. Connect the solar panels to the UPS01, and finally, connect the AC power cord. The system prioritizes AC power, switching to solar/battery during outages.
