- Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported on its side. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

- Drain any residual water using the water drain plug located at the bottom of the unit.
Water Filling Methods
The Igloo Ice Maker offers two ways to supply water:

- Water Line Hookup (Optional): For continuous ice production, connect a water line to the "Water Inlet" port on the back of the unit. Refer to the detailed diagram for proper connection.

- When the "ICE FULL" indicator light illuminates, the ice basket is full, and the unit will pause ice production. Remove ice to resume.
- If the "ADD WATER" indicator light illuminates, the water reservoir is low. Refill water to continue ice production.

Making Shaved Ice
- Ensure ice cubes are available in the ice basket.
- Open the small door on the front of the unit where the shaved ice dispenses.
- Place a glass or container under the shaved ice chute.
- Press the "SHAVED ICE" button on the control panel. The unit will begin shaving ice and dispensing it into your container.
- Release the button when you have the desired amount of shaved ice.
