The MoesGo Smart Thermostat is designed for wide compatibility with various HVAC systems. Please review the following to ensure your system is compatible:

5.1 C-Wire Requirement

This thermostat requires a C-wire (common wire) for continuous power. If your existing thermostat wiring does not include a C-wire, the provided C-wire adapter must be installed. The thermostat is not compatible with 2-wire systems.

5.2 HVAC System Compatibility

The thermostat is suitable for the following systems:

• Conventional Heating and Cooling Systems (2H/2C)
• Heat Pump Systems (4H/2C)
• Conventional Cooling Only Systems

6.3 Initial Setup & WiFi Connection

After physical installation, restore power to your HVAC system. The thermostat will power on. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your thermostat to your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network. The thermostat only supports 2.4GHz WiFi.

The thermostat features a responsive touchscreen display. You can adjust temperature, change modes (Heat, Cool, Auto, Off), and access settings directly from the unit.

7.2 App Control (Tuya/Smart Life)

Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to add your MoesGo thermostat. Once connected, you can control your thermostat remotely from anywhere with an internet connection, set schedules, and monitor energy usage.

The thermostat is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Link your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account to your Alexa or Google Home app. You can then use voice commands to adjust temperature, change modes, and inquire about the current temperature.

7.5 Zone Remote Sensor

The included temperature sensor provides enhanced monitoring capabilities. When added, the thermostat screen can light up upon movement detection, and the sensor can contribute to temperature readings, especially during planned times or when monitoring people in a specific zone.

Set a vacation schedule to maintain energy efficiency while you are away. This mode allows you to specify departure and return dates, along with desired temperature settings for the unoccupied period.
