4.2 Silencing Alarms (HUSH Function)
If an alarm is triggered by a non-emergency event (e.g., cooking smoke), you can use the HUSH function to temporarily silence the alarms.
- When an alarm sounds, press the 'TEST/HUSH' button on the remote control.
- All interconnected smoke detectors will silence, except for the one that initially detected the smoke. This feature helps you quickly identify the source of the alarm.
- The silenced alarms will automatically reset after a period if the smoke clears, or if the initial alarm source is resolved.
