3.2 Blade and Shim Interaction (Setting 1)

3.3 Assembly with Lock Spacers (Setting 2)

Begin assembly by placing the first outside blade onto your saw arbor. Ensure the "THIS SIDE OUT" marking faces outwards. Next, add the appropriate chippers and lock spacers to achieve your desired dado width. The lock spacers (Figure 3.4, labeled 'Lock Spacer') are essential for maintaining the UNI EN847 compliance by ensuring separation between the blades and chippers. The 'Lock Keys' (Figure 3.4, labeled 'Lock Keys') fit into corresponding slots to secure the assembly.

3.4 Fine-Tuning with Shims (Setting 3)

For micro-thin adjustability of the dado width, utilize the included plastic and magnetic shims. These shims are placed between the chippers and blades to achieve precise cut dimensions. From left to right, you will typically assemble: Outside Blade (A-B), Chipper(s) (C), Lock Spacer(s) (D), and then any necessary micro-thin adjustment shims (E, F, G-H) before the final outside blade. Always ensure all components are seated correctly and securely before tightening the arbor nut.
