Introduction

The Extech HD400 is a robust light meter designed for accurate measurement of light intensity across a wide range. 1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the HD400 meter.

1. Ensure the light sensor is positioned in the area where light intensity is to be measured. The sensor should be facing the light source.
2. The current light reading will be displayed on the large backlit LCD.

• БИРДИКТЕР: Press to toggle between Foot-candles (Fc) and Lux units.
• RANGE: Press to manually select the measurement range. The meter also has an auto-ranging feature.
• МАКС/МИН: Press to display the maximum or minimum light reading recorded since the meter was powered on or the function was reset.
• ПИК: Activates Peak mode, capturing the highest reading over a 10mS period. Useful for measuring short light flashes.
• REL (Түшүндүрмө): Activates Relative mode. This sets the current reading as a reference point (zero), and subsequent readings show the deviation from this reference.
