This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your Mellif Cordless Transfer Pump, model MT-BL1840. This portable, self-priming electric utility water pump is designed for various water transfer tasks, compatible with Makita 18V batteries (not included).

1. Open the waterproof battery compartment cover located on top of the pump.
2. Insert a fully charged Makita 18V battery into the compartment, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
3. Close the battery compartment cover firmly to ensure a waterproof seal.

1. Connect the inlet hose (suction side) to the appropriate port on the pump. Ensure the inlet hose length does not exceed 10 feet for optimal performance.
2. Connect the discharge hose (outlet side) to the other port.
3. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks and maintain suction. The pump uses 1/2" NPT male to 3/4" NH standard fittings.

The Mellif transfer pump features a self-priming design, eliminating the need to manually add water before use. Simply ensure the inlet hose is submerged in the water source.

6. Операция

2. Submerge the inlet hose end into the water source.
3. Ensure the discharge hose is directed to the desired drainage area.
4. Press the power switch to the "ON" position. The pump will begin to draw water.
