4. Getting Started & Initial Setup

1. Align the 2100mAh extended battery with the back of the radio.

1. Screw the GMRS-771 antenna clockwise into the antenna connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

The GM-15 Pro offers two charging methods:

• USB-C заряддоо: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the port on the battery pack (located on the back of the radio) and to a power source (power bank, PC, car, wall adapter, laptop).

4.4 Belt Clip Installation

1. Locate the two small screws on the back of the radio, above the battery.
2. Remove these screws using a suitable screwdriver.
3. Position the belt clip over the screw holes and reinsert the screws, tightening them securely.

1. To power on the radio, rotate the top-right knob clockwise until you hear a click. The display will illuminate.

• UHF/VHF Channels: Use the VFO (Variable Frequency Oscillator) mode to input specific UHF/VHF frequencies or select from programmed memory channels.

5.3 Push-to-Talk (PTT) баскычы

The large button on the left side of the radio is the PTT button. Press and hold this button to transmit your voice. Release it to stop transmitting and listen for incoming calls.

6.2 NOAA Weather Alerts

Stay informed about severe weather conditions with the integrated NOAA Weather Alert feature. The radio can receive emergency warnings on 11 dedicated NOAA channels.

6.3 UHF/VHF Scanning and Receiving

The GM-15 Pro is capable of receiving and scanning across UHF and VHF frequency bands, not limited to GMRS channels. This allows for broader monitoring capabilities.

6.4 Programming the Radio
