1. Open the camera's main latch and then the battery compartment cover located at the bottom.
2. Insert 8 AA batteries into the designated slots, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment cover firmly until it clicks into place, ensuring a waterproof seal.

2. Insert a compatible SD card (up to 32GB, Class 10 or higher recommended) with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks.
