The PREXISO laser level offers two primary operating modes: Self-Leveling Mode and Manual Mode.

1. Slide the Lock/Unlock switch to the "UNLOCK" side.
2. The laser level will automatically attempt to self-level.
3. If the device is within ±4° of horizontal, the laser lines will become steady, indicating it is level.
4. If the device is tilted more than 4°, the laser lines will blink continuously as an alarm, indicating it cannot self-level. Adjust the device's position until the blinking stops.
5. Press the Power Mode Button to cycle through horizontal, vertical, or cross line projections.

2. Press and hold the Power Mode Button for 3 seconds to turn on the laser.
