The device supports various connection methods for seamless integration with your smartphone.

2.2.1 CarPlay & Android Auto Connection

1. Enable Bluetooth and BT Projection on the P3 device.
2. On your smartphone, search for the P3's device name in Bluetooth settings and connect.
3. Enter "0000" as the password when prompted.

2.2.2 AirPlay Connection (for iPhone)

1. Enable Internet Sharing (Tethering/Hotspot) on your iPhone.
2. Turn on the P3's WiFi and connect to your iPhone's tethering network.
3. On your iPhone, search for "LT_link" in screen mirroring settings and connect.

2.2.3 Android Cast Connection

1. Scan the QR code displayed on the P3 or refer to the manual to install the "Carletter Cast" app on your Android smartphone.
2. Follow the three steps within the "Carletter Cast" app. First, connect your smartphone to the P3's Bluetooth.
3. Enable your smartphone's hotspot (tethering).
4. Turn on the P3's WiFi and connect to your smartphone's tethering network.
5. Turn on your smartphone's Cast feature, search for the device, and connect.

The Herilary P3 runs on Android 12, providing a familiar and intuitive interface. You can download and use various applications from the Google Play Store, including navigation, music streaming, and video playback apps like YouTube and Tver.

The device offers four distinct audio output methods, which can be selected from the "Audio Output" section on the display audio's homepage, allowing you to choose the most convenient option for your vehicle's audio system.

2. Bluetooth: Connect your smartphone to your car's original Bluetooth system, and audio from the P3 will be routed through your car's speakers.

Please note that for map data and real-time traffic updates, an internet connection (via Wi-Fi tethering from your smartphone or a mobile hotspot) is typically required.

3.4 Memory and Performance

Equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (ROM), the Herilary P3 ensures smooth operation and quick loading times for applications. The storage can be expanded via an SD card for additional media and app storage.

  3. If using smartphone tethering, check your phone's APN (Access Point Name) settings to ensure proper internet connectivity.
• Bluetooth/AUX Connection Failures:
  1. Ensure the correct audio output method is selected on the P3 device's homepage under "Audio Output".
  2. Verify that your car's audio system is set to the correct input (Bluetooth or AUX).
  3. If Bluetooth or AUX is not working, try using the FM transmission method as an alternative.
• Navigation Requires Internet Connection: The Herilary P3 is an Android-based system, not a traditional car navigation unit with pre-loaded offline maps. Map data and real-time navigation typically require an active internet connection (via Wi-Fi tethering from your smartphone or a mobile hotspot). Consider downloading offline maps within your preferred navigation app if available.
• Apps Hidden / Full Screen Video Issues: Some applications may not be fully optimized for the device's display ratio, leading to parts of the interface being hidden or full-screen video not displaying correctly. Check for app updates or alternative apps.
