Introduction

The FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX WLAN Set provides a high-speed network connection using your existing electrical wiring. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your device, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.

Expanding Your Network with WLAN Mesh

The FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX supports WLAN Mesh, allowing all FRITZ! devices to work together in a single network, optimizing performance. To add the Powerline adapter to an existing FRITZ! Mesh network:

1. Ensure your FRITZ!Box is the Mesh Master.
2. Plug the FRITZ!Powerline 1240 AX into a wall socket.
3. Press the "Connect" button on the FRITZ!Powerline adapter.
4. Within 2 minutes, press the "Connect" or "WPS" button on your FRITZ!Box. The Powerline adapter will automatically adopt the Wi-Fi settings of your FRITZ!Box.
