5.1 Audio Extraction Function
The primary function of this device is to extract audio from an incoming HDMI signal. Once connected as described in Section 4, the video signal will pass through to your display, and the audio will be simultaneously available on both the SPDIF Optical and RCA L/R outputs. 5.2 HDMI-ARC Function
The Audio Return Channel (ARC) allows audio from your TV's built-in tuner or smart TV apps to be sent back to the audio extractor via the HDMI cable, eliminating the need for a separate audio cable. To enable ARC:
- Ensure your TV's HDMI port is ARC-enabled and connected to the extractor's 'HDMI OUT' port.
- Press the 'ARC' button on the extractor. The ARC LED indicator will light up green.

Use the 'Audio Mode Switch Button' on the front panel to cycle through these EDID settings.

7.2 No Sound from RCA L/R Output Port
- Ensure that the Audio Format on your input source device is set to Stereo (PCM). RCA output only supports 2-channel stereo audio.
- Check that the EDID switch on the extractor is set to the '2CH' position.
- Verify your 3.5mm audio cable (if using an adapter) or RCA cables for functionality and secure connection.
