4. Installation Guide (No Sunroof Models - Power from OBD)
Follow these steps for installing your Fitcamx dash cam. This guide is for models without a sunroof, utilizing power from the OBD port.
- Carefully use the pry tool to remove the original plastic cover near the rearview күзгү.
- Disconnect the existing cable from the original cover.
- Connect the provided Y-cable to the vehicle's power source.
- Connect the other end of the Y-cable to the Fitcamx dash cam.
- Route the power cable neatly along the windshield edge and down the A-pillar.
- Tuck the cable under the door seal.
- Continue routing the cable along the lower door frame.
- Route the cable towards the OBD port located near the driver's footwell.
- Plug the OBD connector into the vehicle's OBD port.

5.1. 4K UHD Video Recording & Night Vision
The Fitcamx dash cam records in Ultra High Definition (UHD) 2160P at 30 frames per second, capturing clear and detailed footage. Equipped with a Novatek Chip and CMOS Sensor, a 170° wide-angle lens, and an f/1.6 large aperture, it optimizes image performance in various lighting conditions, including low-light environments for enhanced night vision.

5.2. WiFi & Mobile App Connectivity
Connect your dash cam to the Fitcamx mobile application via built-in WiFi to access live preview, transfer footage, and adjust settings. The app is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
