This complete system includes the Goodman GLXS3BN3610 Air Conditioner condenser, the Goodman GM9S801005CN furnace, and the Goodman CAPFA4226C3 coil. The system is certified by AHRI under certificate number 215331459, ensuring its performance and efficiency.
Important Note: This system does not comply with Federal regulations for the following States and cannot be shipped to or installed in: AL, AR, AZ, CA, DE, FL, GA, KY, LA, MD, MS, NC, NM, NV, OK, SC, TN, TX, and VA.

2.1 System Configuration (Upflow, Downflow, Horizontal)

2.2 Fuel Type (Natural Gas or Liquid Propane)
The GM9S801005CN furnace is typically configured for natural gas. If your home uses liquid propane (LP), a separate LP conversion kit must be purchased and installed by a qualified technician. Furnaces sold in California may have specific low NOx requirements.
2.3 R-32 Refrigerant Compatibility
This system utilizes R-32 refrigerant, which is more efficient and has a lower global warming impact than previous refrigerants. However, R-32 is slightly flammable. If you are replacing only the condenser or the coil, it is critical to understand that R-410A (an older refrigerant) is not backwards compatible with R-32. Both the condenser and the coil must be compatible with R-32. If you are integrating R-32 components with an older furnace, a 'Dragonfly kit' may be required to ensure proper communication and safety, especially for leak detection and burner shutdown in case of a refrigerant leak.

2.4 SEER2 Regulations
As of January 1st, 2023, new SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio 2) regulations are in effect. These updated standards provide a more accurate reflection of real-world energy efficiency. Your system's 13.4 SEER2 rating meets the minimum requirements for the Northern states. Southern states have higher minimum SEER2 requirements.
