The VU56PRO supports two primary display modes:

• PPM Mode (Peak Programme Meter): 0dB = 1.5Vpp. Recommended for general dynamic display and visual effects.

Switch between these modes using the remote control or the 'MODE' button on the device.

  • The maximum effective input level is 1.8Vrms. Exceeding this may result in a full display.
  • Adjust the input level from your audio source or use the 'Display Length Gain' setting.
  • Ensure the correct display mode (PPM or VU) is selected for your application.
