4. Орнотуу
The ARES WING GDT1006PWH monitor arm offers two mounting options: C-clamp and Grommet mount. Ensure your desk thickness is compatible with the chosen method.

- C-Clamp Тоо: Fits desks with a thickness of 0.47-1.77 inches (12-45mm).
- Grommet Mount: Fits desks with a thickness of 0.47-1.97 inches (12-50mm) and an existing hole diameter of 0.4-2.4 inches (10-60mm). If no hole exists, a 3/8 inch (10mm) hole can be drilled.
4.2 Attaching VESA Plate to Monitor
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your monitor.
- Select the appropriate VESA adapters (if needed) and screws (M-A, M-B, M-C, M-D, M-E) from the hardware kit that match your monitor's VESA pattern (75x75mm, 100x100mm, 100x200mm, 200x100mm, 200x200mm).
- Securely attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using a Phillips screwdriver.
- For large displays, ensure the VESA adapter is correctly installed. Some monitors, like the Samsung G9, come with a circular adapter that needs to be installed first.
4.3 Mounting the Arm to the Desk
- Choose your preferred mounting method (C-clamp же Grommet).
- Assemble the chosen base and secure it firmly to your desk.
- Insert the pole into the base and tighten the set screw using the provided Allen key.
- Slide the lower arm onto the pole and secure it at your desired height.

4.4 Attaching Monitor to Arm
- Before attaching the monitor, adjust the gas spring force value of the head and upper arm to the maximum (turn counter-clockwise) to ensure it can support the monitor's weight.
- Carefully hang the monitor (with the VESA plate attached) onto the head of the monitor arm.
- Tighten the knob on the VESA plate to secure the monitor.

The ARES WING GDT1006PWH monitor arm features a gas spring system for smooth and effortless adjustments. Use the provided Allen keys to fine-tune the tension.

5.2 Monitor Position Adjustment

- Monitor is sagging or dropping: The gas spring tension is too low for your monitor's weight. Increase the tension by turning the adjustment screw in the '+' direction (counter-clockwise) using the provided Allen key.
- Monitor is rising too high: The gas spring tension is too high for your monitor's weight. Decrease the tension by turning the adjustment screw in the '-' direction (clockwise) using the provided Allen key.
- Monitor cannot be tilted: The tilt adjustment screw on the VESA head might be too tight. Loosen it slightly until the desired tilt can be achieved, then re-tighten to secure the position.
- Arm feels stiff or difficult to move: Check if any screws are overtightened. Ensure the gas spring tension is correctly set for your monitor's weight.
