2. Ассамблея
Your CRAFTSMAN M220C mower requires minimal assembly. The main unit is largely pre-assembled, with the wheels already attached. The primary assembly steps involve attaching the handle and the grass collection bag.

- Locate the handle assembly. It may be folded for shipping.
- Unfold the handle and align the lower handle sections with the mounting points on the mower deck.

- Route any control cables along the handle and secure them with the provided clips or zip ties to prevent interference during operation.
Grass Collection Bag Assembly
The grass collection bag typically consists of a fabric bag and a frame. Assemble the frame first, then slide the fabric bag over the frame, ensuring it is securely attached.

Before starting your mower for the first time, it is crucial to add engine oil and fuel.

The mower is shipped without engine oil. Always use the recommended type and amount of oil as specified in the engine manual. Engaging Self-Propel
This is a front-wheel-drive self-propelled mower. To engage the self-propel function, squeeze the self-propel lever (often a smaller lever on the handle) towards the main handle. Release the lever to disengage the self-propel function.

3-in-1 Functionality (Mulch, Bag, Side Discharge)
Your mower offers versatile 3-in-1 functionality:

Cleaning the Mower Deck
After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup, which can affect cutting performance. Your mower may feature a wash port for easy cleaning: simply attach a garden hose, turn on the water, and start the engine for a few minutes to clean the deck.
