3. SSD Installation Guide

Follow these steps to install your M.2 NVMe SSD into the ORICO X50 enclosure:

1. Step 1: Open the Enclosure
   Use the provided screwdriver to remove the screws and carefully detach the back cover of the enclosure.
2. Step 2: Insert the SSD
   Gently insert your M.2 NVMe SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle. Secure the SSD in place with the small screw provided.
3. Step 3: Apply Thermal Pad
   Place the thermal pad onto the installed SSD. Ensure it makes good contact with the SSD surface.
4. Step 4: Close the Enclosure
   Replace the back cover and tighten the screws to secure it.

4. Operating Instructions: Disk Formatting

New SSDs or SSDs previously used in other devices require formatting before use. Follow the instructions for your operating system.

4.1. Formatting in Mac OS

1. Connect the ORICO X50 enclosure to your Mac. If a prompt appears stating "The disk you attached was not readable by this computer," click "Initialize...".
2. Open Disk Utility. You can find it by clicking Go in the Finder menu bar, then selecting Утилиталар, анан Disk Utility.
3. In Disk Utility, select your external ORICO drive from the sidebar (e.g., "ORICO Media" or "X50-2TB").
