• Why is my new hard drive not showing up in the ACASIS enclosure?

  If the hard drive is brand new, it likely needs to be initialized and formatted. On Windows, use 'Disk Management' to initialize the disk and create a 'New Simple Volume'. On Mac OS, use 'Disk Utility' to erase and format the drive (ensure the format is compatible, like APFS or exFAT). Also, verify that the drive is firmly seated in the slot.

• Why isn't my laptop charging when connected to the docking station?

  Many ACASIS docking stations use a pass-through charging method. You must connect your laptop's original power adapter (or a compatible PD charger, usually 60W-100W) to the 'PD' (Power Delivery) port on the dock to provide power to both the docking station and the laptop simultaneously.

• Why can't I cast the screen to my monitor via the dock?

  Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt 3/4. Not all USB-C ports support video output. Additionally, check that the cable connecting the dock to the laptop is capable of video transmission and that the monitor is set to the correct input source.

• How do I install a graphics card in an ACASIS eGPU dock?

  Unscrew the fixing screws to open the enclosure, align the graphics card gold fingers with the PCIe slot, and insert it firmly. Connect the necessary power cables (6-pin/8-pin) from the dock's power supply to the graphics card, and the 24-pin cable to the board. Close the case, connect the Thunderbolt cable to your computer, and install the appropriate GPU drivers.

• Does the ACASIS enclosure support RAID modes?

  Some multi-bay ACASIS enclosures support hardware or software RAID. For software RAID on Mac or Windows, use the system's disk management tools to configure RAID 0, RAID 1, or JBOD/Span. Refer to your specific model's manual to see if hardware RAID switches are available on the device itself.
