To calibrate, remove the seal screw and turn the calibration screw counterclockwise to reduce the indicated amount, or clockwise to increase it. A full turn typically changes the indicated amount by 0.1 Gal. Use a known volume container (at least 5 gallons) for accurate calibration.

Check the suction line for any leaks, obstructions, or restrictions. Inspect the internal vanes, slots, and piston valves for nicks, wear, or damage. Make sure your pump is compatible with the fluid you are transferring.
If your pump is experiencing low capacity, it may have a clogged screen or filter. Run a flushing fluid through the meter or remove the strainer housing to clean the screen manually. Do not use incompatible fluids to flush the system.
