My Mom's SL600 took me down but, not up. Now there's no lights on the armrest. It's about a foot or so from the bottom. Where it's plugged in has a green light. I found the tool for manual overide. I've been turning it counterclockwise. Do I need to turn it more that direction? Or clockwise? I've always been used to left loose, right tight. It's difficult to see the instructions since it's close to the bottom but, not all the way. I've tried Google searches and videos with no results.
