You can register your device by logging into the Meraki Dashboard at dashboard.meraki.com. Navigate to Organization > Configure > Inventory and click 'Claim' to enter your device serial number or order number.
The serial number is typically located on the product label on the bottom or back of the unit. It is a 12-character alphanumeric code in the format Qxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
Generally, a solid white or green LED indicates the device is online and fully operational. A rainbow or rotating color pattern means the device is initializing or connecting. Solid orange usually indicates the device has power but no connection to the Meraki cloud.
Locate the reset button on the device (often a small hole requiring a paper clip). Press and hold the button for at least 10-15 seconds until the status LED clears or changes color, then release it to reboot into factory settings.
