Jumper Setting

Эскертүү: The DK315C jumpers other than listed above are installed by the manufacturer and must not be removed or replaced by the user.Never remove any of the BLACK factory-set jumpers. These jumpers are unique to each drive. All jumpers should be set with the power off. By using an extension cable from the J6 connector, the SCSI ID Setting and LED are externally available.
Эскертүү: Only the ends of the SCSI bus must be terminated. All other drive between the ends must have terminator disabled. Terminator power must either be supplied by the (HOST) or the drive controller.

It is permissible to install the DK315C horizontally or vertically as above.

Mount the drive with four screws by proberly inserting them through 4 holes in the drive. (Screw’s torque: 6 8Kg-cm (2.36 3.15Kg-inch) Clearance not less than 3mm around HDA is required to accommodate any possible vibration of HDA itself.
Sequential Activation of Motors
When multiple disk drives are connected and turned on simultaneously, a large amount of current will flow. It is recommended to turn the motors on one by one at an interval of approx. 20 seconds. Indication of “READY” on the last drive reports that all drives have been activated.
