How to use the J2534 Function in ONE VCI on the RLink Platform

2. Install and Start Software: Install the RLink Platform software and start it.
3. Sign In to TOPDON Account: Tap ‘Login to the Account’ to sign in to your TOPDON account. (Note: Your ONE VCI is already bound to this tablet, so there’s no need to re-bind it on the RLink Platform—simply sign in to your TOPDON account.)
4. Check for RLink Platform Updates: Tap the ‘Settings’ icon, then tap ‘About’ to check for RLink Platform updates. If an update is available, tap ‘Update’.
5. Connect ONE VCI and Check Firmware: Connect the ONE VCI to your PC via USB. The software will auto-detect the device and check for firmware updates.
6. Download OE Driver Software: Go to ‘Driver’ > ‘Driver Download’ and download the OE driver software for your specific vehicle brand (e.g., CHRYSLER).
7. Select Driver Mode: Go to ‘Driver’ > ‘Driver Info’ and select the driver mode for the OE software. (Important: When using ONE VCI device, select ‘RLink’ as the diagnostic interface in the OEM software.)
8. Select VCI Device in OE Software: Using CHRYSLER as an example, open the OE software and select ‘TOPDON – RLink’ under ‘VCI Device’.

• VCI not detected: Ensure the ONE VCI is securely connected to your PC via a USB cable. Try a different USB port or cable.
• RLink Platform not updating: Check your internet connection. If the issue persists, try restarting the RLink Platform software.
• OE driver not installing: Ensure you have administrative privileges on your PC to install software. Check for any firewall or antivirus software blocking the installation.
• Cannot select RLink in OEM software: Make sure the RLink Platform software is running and the ONE VCI is connected. Verify that you have followed step 7 correctly to select the RLink driver mode.
