Find the emergency keys in the accessories bag. Remove the battery compartment cover, insert the emergency key, turn it anticlockwise, and then turn the handle clockwise to open the door. Be sure to never store the emergency key inside the safe.
Open the safe door and press the reset button located behind the door. Enter your new 1-8 digit code and press #. When the keypad flashes, re-enter the code and press # again to confirm. A long beep indicates success.
The alarm sounds for 60 seconds if the wrong code is entered five times or if violent vibration is detected. The keypad is temporarily disabled during this time; you can only stop the alarm by opening the safe with the emergency key and removing the batteries.
Touch the keypad to wake it up, then press and hold the '1' button for 3 seconds. The upper-left indicator will stay lit, confirming that mute mode is activated.
